How many quilts is too many?

So it does actually get cold in Australia and no we don't all walk around in boardshorts and bikinis all year round. But my question today is: How many quilts is too many?
Currently my bed has a quilted duvet cover, the first quilt my mummy made, a beige old lady quilt and a turquoise craft themed hand pieced lap quilt.
