These boots are made for....ermm looking awesome

This month I splurged a little and bought quite a few bits from Modcloth. The latest of which are these fantastic shoes by Dolce Vita called "Along the Cutting Edge Heel".

The minute I saw them I knew I just had to have them! Considering I was still waiting on my first shipment from Modcloth to arrive I spent an additional $34 for expedited UPS shipping to Australia.

I wanted them and I wanted them NOW.

This was the first time I purchased shoes online. Some of you know I work in online shopping and I LOOOVE it - but I have never felt comfortable in taking the risk of buying shoes that might not fit. I can risk/deal with not trying a dress on but shoes...they are different. These Dolce Vita shoes were just so unique and awesome that I was willing to take the risk.

One week later, and 3 painstaking days of knowing the shipment was sitting in Melbourne but would not be delievered till Wednesday, they arrived.

And they are even cooler in real life!
