So what don't you know about me? Well you all know I am an Irish gal living in Australia but you may not know that I am the oldest of four children....which means my siblings and parents live a 26 hour multi-plane ride away. I can't believe it has been two years since I was last at home. It pains me to think I have not seen my sister and brothers in so long and they have grown up so much in the last two years they even look completely different now. From what I can see via Skype and photos: the boys are muscly young gentlemen and my little sister is a young and beautiful little lady now(complete with hectic social life).
Each year since we were babies my parents have brought us to have our photographs taken with Santa Clause. It has been a fantastic way to chronicle our development through childhood and as a family. Some years there are additions of new babies and other years awkward teenagers stand hoping no one from school walks past. Looking back through these photos makes me incredibly happy. I cannot wait to go into Arnotts in Dublin(no my aussie readers it is a department store not a biscuit) and have our family photo taken with Santa! The look on the younger children who may be at the stage of not believing is priceless when they watch 4 grown teens/adults cue up with their parents in their "Sunday best"to see Santa.
I have updated my About Me/Bio but I think it is nice now and again to share some more with you.
Do you live far away from your family? Do you have any weird/quirky traditions in your family?
